• You have lost one or more teeth and want to restore chewing function
• You would rather not have the neighbouring teeth prepared for a bridge
• You wear a removable denture but chewing still feels unstable
• You lost a tooth years ago and want to limit further jawbone loss

What happens at Ky Hoa Dental

1. Examination and X-ray to assess bone density and the gap left by the missing tooth
2. General health check, with an internal medicine review for patients who have underlying conditions
3. A detailed cost estimate before any work begins (this is a self-pay service)
4. The implant is placed and left to integrate with the jawbone
5. The ceramic crown is fitted onto the implant, the bite is adjusted and follow-up visits are arranged

How health insurance applies

This is a restorative and cosmetic service, so it falls outside health insurance (BHYT) coverage. The cost will be explained clearly before any work begins. Note that treatment of an underlying condition beforehand may still be covered.
